Population Health Management 2016: The Training Wheels Are Off

January 03, 2017

Andover, MA – January 3, 2017 – In KLAS’ specialty report, Population Health Management 2016: The Training Wheels Are Off, Philips Wellcentive received the highest marks of all vendors in terms of flexibility in meeting customers’ needs and is described as especially capable of handling a large number of diverse data feeds.

A well-established player in the population health management market, Philips Wellcentive received a KLAS performance score of 81.4, above the population health management segment average, and is “best partner in a rapidly changing world.”

Royal Philips acquired Wellcentive in July 2016 as a complement to its population health management offering. Philips Wellcentive provides cloud-based IT solutions to help care providers deliver coordinated care that meets new healthcare quality requirements and reimbursement models.

KLAS interviews healthcare professionals each year about the products and services used by their respective organizations by using a standard quantitative evaluation. To further examine the most significant issues facing healthcare technology today, KLAS also creates supplemental evaluations that target a subset of KLAS’ overall sampling. The data in this report comes from both evaluation types and was collected over the last 12 months.
