| |  Meet Wilfredo Balaez, Field Service Engineer in Puerto Rico, a great example of going above and beyond. At Philips and as a U.S. Army reservist, Wilfredo installs, maintains, and repairs Philips medical equipment that helps people live longer, healthier lives. He applied his skills to support Haitian disaster relief following the 2010 earthquake. “A few days after the earthquake, I received an email from my manager asking me if I would go to Haiti to help install equipment that Philips donated. I immediately replied and told him I could be ready to travel that same day,” Wilfredo said. + Read more

|  Meet Jerry Brennan, Regional Director, VISICU in Oregon City, Oregon “Helping save lives at Philips is just as important as what I do for the military,” says Jerry. That says a lot coming from a decorated veteran who deployed to Afghanistan and flies Blackhawk MEDEVAC helicopters on weekends as part of the Military Air Rescue Team. Jerry, a former Marine Corps aviator for eight years, re-enlisted as a Reservist after the September 11 attacks.
