    No video or bad video when using Philips SGP9101 cable

    1. Verify that you have the latest firmware update installed on your PS3 system

    2. Check the 'Display Settings' in your Playstation 3 system menu, and verify that your display settings are correct

    3. Select 'Video Output Settings' > 'Component/D-Terminal'

    4. Select all the resolutions that are supported by your TV's component video input jacks

    If the resolution is incorrect, the TV screen will go blank. After 30 seconds the system will return to the previous setting. If this occurs, it means that your TV’s component video input jack does not support the selected resolution. Try selecting a lower resolution.

    When selecting resolutions, please ensure that you have the correct component video input selected on your TV screen. Verify settings and complete the setup.
