Let's start with the bad side.
They are not perfect and is not suitable for all lamp types. Their shape is a plus and a minus at the same time. Mirror Flux is an genious technology, no doubt, but due to the specific bulb shape, it can not illuminate all reflector evenly 360 - it leaves Cat eye-shaped () darker spot on the reflector. Due to it, it is not suitable for all lamp shapes. I hope that Philips will correct this little imperfections in its future products.
OK, now to the positive.
With all that they are not perfect, they are the best 7443 type LED bulbs what I have seen. In my 2007 Subaru Legacy sedan those bulbs looks great, taillights are now more intense red, and LEDs makes beautiful red circles in my Legacy reflectors! The difference between the marker lights and brake lights are very good, exactly what it should be!
These bulbs are polarity sensitive, if it is placed in a wrong position lights only sidelight, which goes off if you press brake.
One more thing - car lights are too important thing to leave it in the hands of poor quality LED bulbs. Do not play games with the lives, choose reliable manufacturers products as this - Philips, and stay safe!

I have mine working in a Subaru Impreza, which uses CK style socket. Somehow it works with either of the ground pins shorted to ground. Neat little circuit trick.
The reviewer who gave one star should have flipped the bulb around.

My Subaru has a 7443CK wired socket and this bulb will not work properly and also cause the VDC, ABS, and Hill Start warning lights to illuminate. The marker light will come on, but it will also cause the high mount lamp to glow even when the brakes are not applied. When the brakes are applied the high mount lamp will get brighter but the Philips bulbs will go dark until the brake pedal is released. This is not a flaw in the bulb, this is because Subaru decided to wire its lamp socket differently.
I do hope Philips produces a CK version because the design of this bulb looked far more solid than other products I have tried and the marker light seemed as bright as the incandescent I was trying to replace.
