I get the best shave ever from this electric it is almost as close as my blade. Takes time to get used to it very difficult to move in a circular motion as directed

Rated 5 out of 5 by Navyman98 This product is excellent for nice clean shaves.
Me and my friend had used this product and we both thought it was excellent. I had a goatee and I wanted to get rid of it. Before, I used a different electric shaver and the result was not good. My friend had a thick beard and he also used the same brand I had used and it always snag his beard. When we both used the Phillips 900 Series we were very satisfied of the quality and performance. It was easy to use, it was very easy to clean and it gives you a nice good shave.

Wish it had a charger stand instead of having to plug in to recharge.

Rated 5 out of 5 by alba66 I owned a previous version but cleaning it was a pain. This one is accessibler and smaller and does the job!
Had to discard prior buy coz after removing to clean, it didn't function. No probs with this smaller one....

Rated 4 out of 5 by ls59 Good but lacks trimmer
When my old Norelco rechargeable dual-header died I wanted another dual header to replace it and the choices were down to this model (not commonly available in stores) or a non-rechargeable dual header that requires AA batteries. I bought my son the AA model (his first shaver) and I had to order this one online.
The water rinsing feature is quite nice but the shaver lacks the beard trimmer the old Norelco had which came in handy when I needed to touch-up my beard. I prefer the dual-header over the triple as I have a full beard and a triple head is too large for me to comfortably maneuver without affecting the places I want left untouched.
I did prefer the more box-like shape of the old dual-header as it was easier to grip. The new slender shape is more suited to smaller (women's) hands and I don't care for the semi-phallic overall appearance. The old unit was also dual-powered so it could be plugged-in and used on AC if the battery was low. This unit can only operate on DC and requires charging to do so.
The only other criticism I have is that the plastic foil guard cover doesn't snap on securely and remain attached very well. The shaver didn't come with a pouch and when I throw it into a suitcase or a shaving kit bag the cover always falls off, leaving the foils exposed to damage.
