Rated 4 out of 5 by DouceDame Very happy and relaxxxxxxxx....
Bought it in 2014. Very easy to use, many ways to wake up (music, radio, usb with your own music) buttons without light but it is not a big issue. The only thing: I found the ligth big in height, you can't miss it. I still don't regret my wake up light ;)

Rated 5 out of 5 by poioquentinho unique product a electronic candle
Considering that i bought this in 2015,
The manual is very well thought off, with images as references saving "space" and focusing the text in the product functions.
All the menu interface is straight simple, with the usual blinks and obvious icons.
All the parameters can change in Off mode (volume & intensity) and as 15s delay memory when unplugged.
The ac cord is long enough and when On it doesn´t makes any sound, whatever the light intensity, and as for this last, it as nice gradients that goes from 01 yellow and warm, to a very clear, almost "clinic" 20.
The sound is very robust, with nice low mids, due to the inside structure acoustic effect and the button fell sturdy but also soft.
Liked to see that the new models are using much less than 85W and have light in the buttons.
Happy with this buy!

I absolutely love my Wake-up Light. The problem is that I'm on my second one and it too has broken.
First, the light burned out after 10 months and I had to return the whole unit to get a replacement. (I think they've changed that now...but still...odd.)
Now, the light is fine but I can't keep the unit plugged in because the radio turns on and scrolls from the loudest setting to the softest setting and back up and down and up again. Last time this happened, it was about 1:30 AM and I nearly threw the thing across the room.
I love the function. I love the features. I hate the misbehavior.

After two months the lamp stopped working. Sent it back and got a new one two months later. Unfortunately the lamp burned out again. Now the radio mysteriously turns on for no reason. Poor engineering.

Rated 5 out of 5 by kara30 LOVE it!
I have been using the wake-up light for about a week now and the verdict is in! I LOVE it! During the summer I have no problem waking up to go to my 6:00am job. The sunrise does a good job of that, however now that I get up in the dark I have an extremely hard time waking up. My husband sets the alarm for me and hits snooze (its on his side of the bed) atleast 3 times. I hated that when the alarm went off my heart would be pounding, explatives coming out of my mouth, and my anxiety would be through the roof! Great way to start a very long day. With the wake-up light I gently wake up at about an 8-10 intensity, happy and ready to face a new day. I usually lay in bed for a little while and just "bathe" my face in the light. I dont yawn all morning, I dont need time to fully wake up, I'm happy and I even have constant energy throughout the day. I work two jobs. I teach 7:15-2:15 and then work at the family bakery 3-7pm. From 5:10am-7:00pm I feel great, no 3:00 blahhs either. This wake-up light has been a life-saver! I love the sunset function too. I put it on while I get ready for bed then I lay down close my eyes and dont open them again until the "sun" rises.
People may include reviews that the menu is hard to navigate but it really isnt, just familiarize yourself with it. I can change settings in the dark without my glasses.

Rated 4 out of 5 by SnapperJones Kind of ugly, but works great!
I love my wake me up light. I feel more refreshed when I wake up than I ever have before. I love how my body wakes up gradually over a period of time, rather than just a blaring radio that screams "WAKE UP!". This product is great. A few things that could be better is the ease of use. The menu could be reconfigured. The style is kind of ugly as well, but it gets the job done. And a job well done! Thanks Philips!!

I love this lamp in the dark Seattle winters. My wife loves using it as a bedside lamp as you can adjust the lighting. The Phillips customer service was AMAZING when the light bulb burned out, and got me a new one right away. I have recommended this to all of my friends and family that have trouble waking up in the mornings. It will take you a couple minutes to figure out the buttons, but it might have been easier if I read the instruction manual.

Rated 5 out of 5 by sheen16 Perfect for not being a morning person and a student
I hate waking up even to my favorite music can sometimes be annoying and so I bought the best wake up light alarm I could find after days of research. I LOVE THIS!! Took me a few days to get use to and figure out how it all works and make it work best for me. I love that I can have nature sounds and change the set volume, even plug in a USB with music of my choice or set the radio. I listen to NPR or jazz in the evenings with the lamp on a dim setting and it really helps me wind down for the day. The color is good for any interior design. I like how you can adjust the alarm modes in between 2 times. I AM A NIGHT PERSON & have had serious insomnia issues my whole life and this has really helped me naturally wake up in the mornings and I live in the Pacific Northwest so lack of sun light... this is my sun. I keep all light off at night and on the lowest setting of the LED time its dark enough not to bother me but bright enough for me to read. The clock does get warm if put to brightest settings but its not suppose to be a room light, its an alarm and bedtime reading lamp. I like the shape and the fact i can just snooze if I need to by a touch anywhere, or a stuffed animal thrown at it. It hasn't collected dust and and has a decent speaker.
