I have 2 pair of Phillips dvd player ( 7 and 9 inches ) one the lens stopped working after one month, the other opens at every bump, both av cables bad wires. Do not waste your money on this product, save your money and your time

Horrible do not buy can not return device. Worked for a month then will not play a DVD this is the second set we have had this issue with. First set we borrowed and we believed that we had broke it Both screens went out. We purchased a replacement for a family member then purchased ourself a set as before the device is not what it seems.

We bought the player for a road trip. I wish we bought one that plays different movies because the boys wanted to watch different things. The wires wear easily tangled and kept being pulled out. When I attempted to tighten one of the straps to raise the screens, the plastic closure broke. The screen without the functions would stop playing so I would have to pull over several time to plug and unplug the wires to figure out what the problem was. I am now having to file a warranty claim because the one of the screens just stopped working showing a white screen.

Went on a road trip with the kids, both screens were working. On the way back, only one screen was working. As i was reading reviews, seemed like this was a common issue! Save your selves the headache, don't buy this product.

Bought one in July. I have about 4 months of use total and am in the process of returning my 5th device. Yes, my fifth!
Support has been okay, but after 3 I would expect a full rebate. Instead I have receive another "reconditioned" unit that does not read a disk out of the box. I dealt with the last one because it would read a disk but only when it was laying flat. It wasn't too long before it slid off my son's lap and broke an input.
Save yourself the headache.

Great Value for the Money !!!
I found the ease of use and design to be average.
However, the performance was excellent, and especially for the price.
I would recommend this product to others.

Purchased this product 6 months ago and only used a handful of time.... it's already stopped working! Such a disappointment. Tried returning it to Best Buy and they wouldn't take it back and said I had to go through Phillips. Don't buy this product!!!!

We bought this and installed it in the parking lot. The second screen worked for I kid you not- 1 minute. We turn the volume up and the screen went out and never came back. The main one worked but made this screeching sound while playing. Terrible product. Will be going right back to the store. Who seriously sells something you can't rely on working it's best right out of the box? I have looked at reviews for similar products and it's the same story. If they work, they work for a minimal amount of time. Save your money. Buy an iPad or something instead!
