Went on a road trip with the kids, both screens were working. On the way back, only one screen was working. As i was reading reviews, seemed like this was a common issue! Save your selves the headache, don't buy this product.

Bought one in July. I have about 4 months of use total and am in the process of returning my 5th device. Yes, my fifth!
Support has been okay, but after 3 I would expect a full rebate. Instead I have receive another "reconditioned" unit that does not read a disk out of the box. I dealt with the last one because it would read a disk but only when it was laying flat. It wasn't too long before it slid off my son's lap and broke an input.
Save yourself the headache.

Great Value for the Money !!!
I found the ease of use and design to be average.
However, the performance was excellent, and especially for the price.
I would recommend this product to others.

Purchased this product 6 months ago and only used a handful of time.... it's already stopped working! Such a disappointment. Tried returning it to Best Buy and they wouldn't take it back and said I had to go through Phillips. Don't buy this product!!!!

We bought this and installed it in the parking lot. The second screen worked for I kid you not- 1 minute. We turn the volume up and the screen went out and never came back. The main one worked but made this screeching sound while playing. Terrible product. Will be going right back to the store. Who seriously sells something you can't rely on working it's best right out of the box? I have looked at reviews for similar products and it's the same story. If they work, they work for a minimal amount of time. Save your money. Buy an iPad or something instead!

This is the 2nd set of these I have bought in two months, the first set one screen didn't work at all so I returned it immediately and purchased another one. This one I bought less than a month ago and seemed to work fine for the first 3 weeks now when you plug it up the screen flashes the Philips logo on and off and won't go any farther. I am truly disappointed, but my 4 year old is especially disappointed that she can't watch movies in the car. I am going to try to take back to the store but don't know what their in store policy is I think it is only 15 days, if not hopefully Philips will stand behind their product and refund or replace the product with one that will actually work!

Bought this in Jan and by Aug of the same year we were having issues with the screen saying it was open when in fact the door was closed. I am surprised that it was the first thing to go considering the fact that we hardly change out the movies because my son will watch the same movie for a good period of time.
I will now have to get with Phillips on what they would want us to do. I was reading the warranty and it says we have to pay for the cost of shipping so that they could fix it. I will call them this week to see what options they give us.
