I've been trying to use this razor for some time since I replaced the head. I've finally given up as it is just too uncomfortable. I doubt I'll be getting another Norelco Razor. Currently I'm back to a blade and shaving cream. Faster, easier, and far more comfortable. I was hoping that by now they would produce something better, but I just checked online and this is it.

I started using my RQ12+ a few days ago and within three days the orange blade retaining plastics started getting loose causing the blades to wobble when shaving. I wish they can be made to grip and retain the blades better. The blade itself is good but the orange retainer is the issue. Wish I can get a better blade retainer. I want to add that I have been a faithful Philips shaver user for over 35years. Never used any other shaver

After 17 years of Philips Norelco products, the Braun 9 series is in my Amazon cart. It wouldn't be there if I could still purchase my Arcitec RQ10 heads. How many customers will you lose before you correct this problem, Philips?

The older RQ12 is a better performer than the RQ12+. The new one tends to pull the hairs as opposed to actually cutting them off. The older version is way better as far as comfort of the shaving experience goes. If my wife had not of thrown the old RQ12 head away, I would have changed back to the older version and had the blades sharpened.
I just like the old version lots better.
I have used the 1250C Sensor Trac3d since it was originally introduced. LOVE IT.

Shaver series 8000 Shaving heads: RQ12/62
These shaver heads are purported to last 6 months to 1 year....this "replacement" has failed in 3 months! I am back to shaving with razor and shaving foam. VERY DISAPPOINTED in how quick the head dulled up.... like using a "Brush Hog Mower" on my face to rip the whiskers out/off. NO MORE!

On this website, and all other online stores, people are complaining about this head, and want to purchase the previous RQ12/50 replacement head. So many users have said this fact, and I am even thinking about repurchase another razor, just want to get the head. Philips need to do something about it.

I love my 3D razor. I've been using it for 2 years.
The new replacement head doesn't provide the product performance I based my buying decision on at the time when I purchased the razor originally.
This is absolutely unacceptable!
Can you just bring the RQ12 back?
Sell the RQ12 next to the RQ12+ and you'll be able to see what the consumer wants.
These are the kind of decisions that make a company look horrible and lose customer loyalty.
Norelco you lost mine.
