Rated 5 out of 5 by TheDude420 Great, small and reliable player
I bought this product almost a year ago. Got a GREAT price since it was on a clearance sale. Small but durable and has great sound when using in-ear headphones. I think the screen is too small for video playback. I have not used this feature. I also like the voice memo record feature. I always have this in my pocket but can't say the same for a pen so this feature is very useful to me. I wouldn't trade this device for anything. I highly recommend this player.

Rated 5 out of 5 by ltebrwnsugr I have owned this mp3 going on 3 years. I use it daily.
I use it every nite to drown out the tinitus in my ear. Then I change the playlist and listen to it from it's own speaker. I just place it inside a cup to echo the sound much louder. I also use it while I'm taking a shower. It sure has gotten quite a bit of use over the years, and it's just now starting to act up. Even with pushing the reset button, I have to take different steps to get it to work again. Like pressing the reset button while it's on the charger then when it's off the charger then placing it back on the charger. Or connecting it to my laptop seems to work each time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Reaper This is an MP3 Player
I don't know if the video works. To me the screen is way too tiny for such things and that's not why I bought it. I bought a MP3 Player to play music on it. I know, what a concept. And for that purpose this device supersedes expectations.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Jn728 Many disappointing features
First of all, it's hard to get videos on it. Converting is so slow. The video playback has many bugs. The video is always left behind that causes the sound some lags.
Second, the user interface is very slow and it's not so responsive. When you scroll down to pick songs, it's too slow. That's why the superscroll is useless anymore.
Lastly, its compatibility is reduced. The mp4 format is removed and some formats in music. I also can't update my device.
I hope you can fix the UI, Video playback, compatibility and its program itself. Thank you :D

Rated 1 out of 5 by toddg VERY disappointed!
The GoGear Ariaz is NOT Rhapsody compatible as claimed. Songs take a very long time to transfer and about 30% don't transfer at all. Philips site claims it is Rhapsody compatible but Rhapsody says it is not.
I could not get the Ariaz to play video. I tried Songbird, Rhapsody, and Windows Media Player to add video. Ariaz would not play it.
Navigation is a mess.
Audible doesn't like the GoGear either. Problems loading and playing.
