The speaker is good, and has good sound and volume, when it works. I rarely use it, but today it is turning itself off, even though music was playing and it was plugged in on my desk.
The other frustrating thing about it is if I turn off my music, and it is still plugged in, and I haven't turned off the speaker, it turns itself off after a few minutes. Then, I have to go through the process of turning it on and selecting my language EVERY time! Very sick of that!

I have had this for over a year now, i use it on a DAILY basis. When fully charged it lasts me a full 8 hour shift at work and another 1 or 2 hours after. It does sound good and better than alot of speakers the same price. I have dropped it quiet a bit and still holds up. HOWEVER the sensor in the front to change songs and pause is a really annoying but you can disable it. This leads me to the second problem. The button clicks are very inconsistent you may have to try sever times to disable it. The whole language menu is a annoying Sometimes it resets itself and i have to go through it. It also sometimes beeps for no reason and sometimes reads my texts.

The speaker worked for the first charge only, then I put it away for a few months got it out today and cannot get the red charge light to stay on, the connector cord is useless. I will try to get another cord, otherwise it goes in the trash can, no more Philips products

I originally purchased this speaker to use in the garage and to take to the beach/pool, etc. I have had it about 2 years, but have not put in more 40 hours of time listening to the music on the device. Now, it will connect for 10 seconds, then disconnect and turn itself off. I have tried resetting it, but it did not stop the problem. It's not a problem with the battery because it happens when the battery is fully charged. It is just a poor quality device.

Will not charge! No voice even advising "1/2 way on battery"! Have had plugged in for a day, and, nothing! Very sad!

I have several bluetooth speakers and the Shoqbox has become a paperweight. Pairing is unreliable, button controls are not consistent. Can't recommend, particularly since it is mostly inoperable when it doesn't easily connect via bluetooth. Too many other bluetooth speakers that work without any effort.

I have been using this speaker for more than a year now.
I have noticed a substantial drop in the output from the battery, so that I need to recharge frequently.
I have noticed a real problem with it dropping in an out of the blue tooth signal (even with the device in the same room) which screws up listening.
Good sound, hate the menu system, not a smart device so no way to update its aggravating problems..

i bought this speaker waiting to be shock proof and it was! after several falls it is still working like new, is a ver tough device, it sounds excelent the only thing is that the battery dont last THAT much... but overall is a MUST HAVE
