Philips AVENT Sealing discs for feeding bottle SCF143/06 Bottle accessories
I've had my Phillips advent bottles since my first child and finally got around to buying these sealing disc for the bottle to use for breast milk storage. I don't write the date on the disc as recommended but instead use masking tape. The disc must pop and click inside the screw cap in order to function properly and once installed screwed onto the bottle with the adapter ring! With out the adapter ring the bottle will leak no questions asked. I have no problems using the sealing disc though I wish it were easier to change from the disc to the feeding nipple with out having to spend extra money on extra screw rings. Over all, well made for long term breast milk storage in the freezer and travel.

Worth the price, just test first
I ordered one pack of these and am back to order another. These seals make it so easy to store breast milk in the bottles then attach a nipple for feeding. You don't have to switch the bottle at all! And unlike the containers which are hard to open, these unscrew easy.
The other review is right about testing them with water first. You want to make sure the seal is nice and tight, and pushed up all the way before. Play around with water before trying with breast milk. After you understand the seal it becomes a snap!
SO WORTH THE MONEY.

Test it out before you trust the seal!
I leaked two full bottles of pumped milk my first day using these discs, which was frustrating because of the lost milk and the mess! The disc goes into the bottle top and looks like it should press all the way up through the hole. My husband and I (both mechanical engineers) made the same mistake assuming that was all we had to do. Once the lid is on the bottle, you need to push the sealing disc down toward the bottle to obtain a seal. Otherwise it leaks. Test it out with water to understand how the seal works before using it with precious breastmilk!

Works as expected
Works great to seal off breastmilk. Also it's easy to write the date and time on the disc with a wet erase marker and it doesn't come off as easily as if you write it on the bottle itself.
