Philips AVENT Nipple SCF652/27 Natural 2 hole Slow Flow 1m+
Too Fast for Age Specification
Like several of the reviewers here, my problem is that my 3 month old can not handle the flow on this nipple, which is recommended for a 1 month old. I get that babies develop at different rates, but to be two months off is pretty inacurate, espcially when so many of the reviewers are having the same problem. She drinks okay from it, but really dribbles, soaking her clothes, and spits up a lot more than usual.
The newborn flow, indicated from birth to 3 months, works just fine for her. I would recommend getting that nipple for those mothers having trouble with the slow flow. My theory is that perhaps breastfeeding babies are used to having to work a little harder for their food, so a slower flow nipple doesn't frustrate them at all and they therefore don't need to be upgraded as quickly. To Avent though, I would perhaps suggest revisiting your age recommendations on these. I feel like many mothers who bought the natural bottles and nipples did so because they have breastfeeding babies, and the nipple is more similar to the breast than the classic nipples are.
Otherwise though, I do love my Avent products, and my baby does great eating from them.

These leak really badly
I bought these nipples in hopes that it would help my baby from taking in too much at one time. She has trouble swallowing so the slower the better. Unfortunately I think more ended up going down her chin onto her clothes then went into her mouth. They leaked really bad. I did make sure that I bought the correct nipple for the bottle that I have. I am very disappointed in this product. I am contemplating switching to a completely different bottle system.

Wasn't usable due to leaks
In regards to the previous poster, I used the slow flow nipples readily attached to the new Avent Natural bottles that I received. There is no question of mismatched products in my case.
The nipples looked and felt great. I liked the high quality design.
But that's where it stopped. There was so much milk leaking during my 3 mo's feeding that her clothes were soaked. She couldn't get the wide base into her mouth and a huge amount of milk leaked through the corners of her mouth.
I had chosen this product for the natural shape to ease the switch between breastfeeding and bottlefeeding, but I was very disappointed.

Frustrating flow rate
I have been using these nipples for a month now and have been very frustrated. I bought both the bottle and the nipples new about a month ago. It is labeled as "1 month or more" but my little one is now 3 months old and still having difficulty with the flow rate. Whenever I give her a bottle, a LOT of formula runs down her chin. If it doesn't, she cries because she takes it in too quickly and thinks she's still hungry. I love the Natural bottles that go with this nipple, but the flow rate is not on target.

I love these! The other reviewer may possibly be using the new nipple design in the old/original Avent bottles. If you do that, they will leak like crazy, since they're not meant to be used in the old bottle designs. If you use these with the new bottles as they are intended to be used, they are perfect!!

I have used Avent bottles with my first child, so when I had my second child I went back to Avent. I tried these new nipples and all they did was leak!! Half of the formula ended up on my babies clothes due to a leak from the nipple. I made sure I had the nipples inserted in the bottle correctly but still they leaked. After a few days of leaks and messes, I went back to the store and bought the original Avent nipple......no more leaks!!!
