Philips AVENT Spout Cup SCF752/11 260ml 12m+ Toddler Fast Flow Spout
Love the product until I needed a replacement valve
These sippies finally helped my daughter make the transition from bottle to sippy cup.
Unfortunately, now after six months of use, we need replacement valves. After much searching online and in stores, I don't think I can get the valves without buying all new cups. Our cups and kids are Ll good as new. I just shouldn't have run the valve through the dishwasher -- the seal leaks now...

Leaking all the time
I have loved Avent products and my son used the bottle bottles, the soft spout cups and the straw cups. However, these hard spout cups leak everywhere! I am so disappointed that they leak so much, I don't know if I need to replace the spout or what's going on but it has leaked from the very first day.

This cup LEAKS everywhere!
I have always liked Avent products so I purchased a 2-pack of these cups a couple of weeks ago even though they are pricey compared to other brands. They are terrible! They leaked all over the place! I washed them out, took the valves out, replaced the valves, ensured they fit properly, and still they leaked all over my 18 month old daughter. She was so upset that she made a mess of her clothes and I was so frustrated! These are going in the trash. I am so disappointed!

I bought this sippy cut for my daughter because I am trying to transition away from the soft plastic nipples. I love that they are compatable with her bottles. However, it took me a couple of days to figure out how to clean the dang thing. It came with a little picture book (with no words) that show how to disassemble several models, which didn't help me at all. It looks like the silicone anti-leak disk is screwed into the cap. (Cue me and my husband both trying to unscrew it unsuccessfully). Really, the silicone piece simply lifts over the small piece that looks like a screw. (Ok, so I shouldn't ever become a rocket scientist...) Now that I've figured out how to clean it, its time to see if my daughter will actually drink out of it...
As for my rating, I haven't actually given it to my daughter to use yet. We'll see how it does once its in the handles of a toddler. But as for the leaking issue that seems to be a problem, maybe they are putting the plastic disk in backwards? The flat side goes in against the plastic lid.

Great cup but leak Issues
This is one of many Avent cups I have purchased for my kids over the past 6 years. I'm now on my third baby and just purchased new ones. One thing to note (and possibly the reason for mixed reviews) is that there are two different spouts for this - the green hard spout and soft (clear) silicone spout. I purchased mine with the green hard spout and had the same issues as many others where liquids just flow from what should be the air vent.
After about three weeks I called customer service because I know cups like this have worked in the past and assumed there was an issue. They were kind enough to ship me new spouts - but the soft silicone kind. My smaller cups (5oz) use that spout and work perfectly.
I'm giving this three stars because the cup itself is nice. I love that you can remove the handles if you want and that you can remove the cover (mine is not the flip cover like the newer models). The leaking is an issue though, and not good for a sippy cup to leak this much. I don't mind the amount of parts (there are 6: cup, handle, lid, spout, silicone spout cover, cover) because it makes them easier to wash and more customization to grow with your child.
I certainly would not purchase this exact model again, but love Avent cups and their customer service was outstanding when I called.

The cup leaks from the first use
I purchased a two pack of these cups for my 1 year old. Whenever she drinks from the cup liquid spouts out of the tiny hole opposite the spout on the top of the cup, which I assume is for air flow. This occurred with both cups. It does not leak if turned upside down but when the filled with pressure from the suction on the spout the liquid freely flows from the small hole. I've ensured the valve is correctly in place and have twisted the valve clockwise as instructed in the FAQ's for this issue. I'm disappointed.

We Love This Product!
I have been trying to get my son to take a sippy cup for 3 months now. I had went out and bought just about every single sippy cup out there but he wanted nothing to do with them. Then I found out Avent made sippy cups as well as bottles. I went out the next day and bought one, gave it to him to try and now I can't get it away from him. He loves this cup and now wants nothing to do with the Avent bottle we love so much. He wants all his drinks in THIS cup. the handles are not too big for his hands and the cup allows the drink to flow freely when drinking from it, yet not spilling or leaking every where when its not in use. I've had to removed the flip cap off the cups while he uses it (he plays with the cap if I leave it on). Other then wishing this cup came with a removable cap like the bottles so it does not feel like I am breaking it when I remove the flip cap, it is still a wonderful product. This is the BEST sippy cup I've bought hands down!
