I bought this antenna a year ago from Walmart. I had basic cable and the company just raised its price, so I figured I'd try an hd antenna. I live 25 miles out of Boston, I get 21 channels, ION network, MeTV, Cozi, RetroTV, 5 different PBS stations, more, and all my local channels. I've never had a problem with reception. I save Money every month on cable cost. I highly recommend this antenna.

I bought this product and I receive ten (10) channels, at one time I scanned, I received twenty (20) channels. You sometimes have to move the antenna around to receive good reception.

I struggled to get more than two channels while using an array of standard rabbit-ears and a slew of more expensive "amplified" antennas. I needed something indoor, which could be easily stored, and chanced upon this Philips SDV6122T while at a local apartment store. It was cheap enough to be worth a gamble, and sure enough it picks up every single over-the-air channel available in my area! I live in Portland, Maine. It transfers high-def video easily and I love it. Highly recommended, just be careful not to leave the antennae's fully extended all the time, lest they bend or break off while not in use.

I bought this thing to "upgrade" from my fairly well-working UN-amplified Philips indoor DTV antenna. What a waste of time and money! Not only was there NO improvement, I could barely detect any signals at all! Can't wait to get my money back...and I was sadly surprised and disappointed that Philips would put out such a piece of garbage; until now I had no problems trusting the Philips name.
