Slow learner... These bulbs do not last as specified on the package. Please work on this Philips! Not worth spending my money on these any longer (over 10 years). 2 March 2013

False advertising for it lasting 2.3 years The ad on the box says it lasts 2.3 years. I haven't even lived in my new house 6 months and I am already having to change this bulb again!!!! (the first was the contractor's bulb; then the Duramax, and now it needs replacing again.) Very disappointing performance in that it TRULY lasts about 2.3 MONTHS not years! 26 January 2013

Not worth the money I spent extra for a long life bulb, supposed to last to 1 1/2 years. They lasted a whopping 8 months. Better off purchasing the inexpensive ones in bulk. 6 January 2012
