Worst monitor you could ever buy for your baby monitoring needs
Purchased from the apple store despite the poor reviews since Philips typically make a good product. WRONG !! This monitor fails to connect and when it does it drops connection every few minutes. Once connected the lag on the audio and video stretches as long as 20 to 30 seconds. Thats a lifetime when you baby is in distress. The alerts are also very delayed some not arriving at all. To sum it up the product is about as much use as placing a pet rock on your babies cribb to relay messages to you. DO NOT PURCHASE or WASTE YOUR TIME !! Just sorry that I did !

I wish it worked
I had problems with this product from the moment I received it.
It actually Never worked. It will not hook up to the WiFi & Overheats then shuts off. It's such a shame I was excited to see it work. I gave the Design 3 stars because it is Sleek and the technology if it had worked is pretty impressive.

Easy set-up, poor night vision
This monitor was easy to set up and use with both iPad and iPhone. The MAJOR shortcoming is the night vision. While night vision provides a reasonable picture, it can only be used for 10 minutes at a time. Night vision automatically shuts off after 10 minutes. It is not possible to extend the time that night vision is on or to turn it on permanently. This makes it impossible to visually monitor a baby in a dark room.

Look Elsewhere
Going back to the store to buy something else. I have a high bandwidth wireless network and the "HD" stream could not keep up with my mobile devices. I'm fairly certain this is because the actual camera hardware is not high performing. An easy way to test how poor it actually performs is to pull up your Bonjour bookmarks in Safari, click on the Monitor and watch how slowly it returns.

waste of time and money
This is the worst product that I have ever purchased from Apple. Read all the poor reviews, I wish I had. The delay is much longer the stated, and it continually freezes. Often there are letters (p2p)or words (local) on the screen and NO where in the directions are these mentioned and there is no way of knowing when what you are watching actually occurred. This is being returned.

This is a disappointment!!!
I picked this from a local apple store and I chose it over the ibaby monitor. The camera is stuck on a frame from 3 hours ago and the streaming function never worked for me, it's really nothing like what the product claims to be. It's the definition of dissapointment.
Not recommended, as it doesn't perform the job for me.

A baby monitor is to monitor babies it can't crash without any alarm
This can be a good product but it defeats the core purpose of its design. The APP crashes without warning you, it simply terminates the APP. The alerts are too much and inconsistent. I get a log of email and alert during the night and I can't jump with every sound to check and see if the APP has crashed and the baby is crying its eyes out.
This is not a baby monitor. It might be good for home surveillance not monitoring small babies.

Buyer beware
Complete waste of money--could not get monitor/camera to connect to my iPad, iPhone or even home Mac--took 2hrs to get to a person for technical support who could not even determine the problem. Returning this ASAP
