Works great, sound is decent
This is a nice looking, quite affordable unit, with decent sound.
I use this only to connect to my home network, and for that it works fine. I can turn it off, take it to a different room, and it will connect to the network just fine. I have not any problems with settings being forgotten or so.
The only negative is that the sound lacks highs. The speaker has a surprising amount of low, and it can play fairly loud without any rattle, it just doesn't sparkle much. So don't expect an audiophile experience, but if you just want background music in a room that is too far from your other speakers it works just fine.

Intermittent Connectivity with iOS6 and MacBook Pro
As many other reviews have said, this is a great looking product, but if falls short of performing adequately. AirPlay performance is simply unreliable. Philips has training videos on how to upgrade the firmware, but they are useless unless they provide the links to the firmware. Product registration for the AD7000W/37 is also not possible, yet there is a support page for the product.

Very good device
I'm not an audiophile, but I like to listen to music in good condition. I con't waste $50 on cheap speakers and I found this device pretty good. I was afraid bass restirurion would be poor but I was wrong. Out of the box it is pretty decent, I did not try to fine tune it with the Philips iOS App yet. I had some disconnections, but this can be a networking issue on my side.

Pandora issues
I absolutely love the product. Great sound and style. One problem I'm noticing is with pandora. I can only select 1 of 2 units so I'm not able to fully use both at the same time. Anyone have a solution?

Loses its settings every time I turn it off. Do not waste your time. Got this for Christmas & I will ask my children to return it.
Forget it. Loses its settinge every time I turn it off. Frustrated as it will not allow a reprogram at all. Directions are for very old Apple iphone OS!

Could be great but the technology is buggy
The sound is pretty good for such a small footprint. But only 1 of my 3 apple devices recognize it via AirPlay (ironically an old iPod Touch G2, not my Mac Mini or Macbook Pro). It also has to be restarted periodically. Seems buggy.
My first though was to update the firmware . . . but that was a frustrating experience. Philips has a video tutorial but no firmware links on the support site. Searching for AD7000W under software "Software & Drivers" returns nothing.
My current firmware version is 3.8.78.3790. I'm hoping this isn't like some technology devices where it is a "throwaway" model . . . meaning Philips has no intention of fixing bugs or keeping the product up-to-date. It could be a could be pretty good if it worked as advertised.
