Choosing the ideal teether for your baby

Philips AVENT staged soothies are designed for your baby’s oral development needs.

Stage 1
Front teeth

Stage 1 soothies are shaped to fit younger babies mouths and hands to help soothe teething pain as front teeth emerge. The stage 1 soothies are suitable for sterilisation.

Stage 2
Middle teeth

Stage 2 soothies are designed to fit slightly older babies’ hands and mouths with both hard and soft surfaces for chewing. The soothies can be placed in the fridge so that the water filled teething pods can be cooled to help soothe teething pain as middle teeth begin to emerge.

Stage 3
Back teeth

Stage 3 soothies can be used when a baby is slightly older as their back teeth start to emerge. These have more playful features to help distract your baby from teething pain. They also have water filled pods and can be placed in the fridge for a cooling effect.
