Using a breast pump

The quickest and easiest way to express milk is with either an electronic or manual breast pump.
Deciding which breast pump is best for you depends on how often you plan on expressing and how much time you have to spare.

Manual pumps take about 15 to 45 minutes to pump enough milk from the breasts, depending on individual flow rates.
