In use 4 times per day - excellent coffee
I love this machine - its looks and the excellent coffee and milk drinks I prepare with it. It's smaller size mean that it fits well into my galley kitchen. It takes some time to get completely up to speed on the features, but the adjustments for drink prep, routine daily maintenance, and the cleaning/descaling are very easy and quickly became second nature. The milk steamer is a pannarello with both the ease and limitations that implies, and gives very hot water. The only reason I don't give performance 5 stars is that the water temp for brewing is not as high as I would like, even on the highest adjustment.

Thrilled with my purchase!
I may not be as sophisicated a coffee drinker as some, but I am very happy with this machine. I've only had it a few days, but have made espresso, cappuccino, and regular coffee with it and all are delicious. We were using a French press for our morning coffee, and this is just as tasty and much easier. Once you get the hang of it, the adjustments are easy. As far as what other reviewers have disliked, I can't complain about the milk frothing, as I find it perfect; and as to temperature, the initial temp is hot enough for me, and if you warm the cup the coffee will stay hot longer. But again, I'm not a coffee connoisseur, just someone who likes a good cup of coffee, espresso, and cappuccino. This machine does that for me!

Excellent coffee....quickly and easily!
I don't think my family will ever go back to a regualr drip coffee maker. We love just pushing a button and having a wonderful, fresh cup of coffee.

Not hot enough
This machine does a good job of making a cap but the temp (120-130) is way to low even when set to hottest setting. Must us a microwave to get hot.. consider a manual machine.

Would not buy this machine again. Cannot recommend.
Might be good for espresso, but does not do well with making milk foam for cappucino. Do not buy if you like true cappucinno.

One of the BEST Fully Automatic Espresso Machines
Traded up from the Saeco Syntia Espresso Machine to my newer Saeco Syntia Cappuccino Espresso Machine. Liked the newer design with the LED screen and function buttons easier to read. I like the easier access to the front water tank and the ground container. I removed the milk frothier for I have a separate frothier. Makes an excellent creamy espresso, fine grind and brews hot and very easy to clean, beautifully built. Consistent espresso cup after cup.
