This machine wants to do a good job, but because of cheap components in its manufacture, it can't.
Styled like the Barista, the Venezia is not well made. The control knob for the steam feature has stripped out after six months' worth of use. The steam wand was leaking water and pressure after three weeks.

I used the Barista from Starbucks for many years until the tank cracked. The Venezia is very similar in design, just very poorly made.
The fit and finish are inferior to the Barista, though the purchase price was the same. The Venezia is now in the shop for repairs to the steam control knob. The steam wand leaked water and pressure within the first week of use. I don't know how long this machine will last but hope that something can be done to give it a useful life of more than a year.

Review of the Venezia
Everything about the Venezia is great! Easy to use / great tasting espresso / quiet / love the design. Would highly recommend to my friends!

Via Venezia
Love how it froth's and the brew is a perfect crema. The first cup wakes me up; the second makes me happy. I make a third with cold milk for afternoon. Keeping it dry so it won't rust like the last one I had. Don't let it run out of water; vapor locks are very hard on the machine. I even poured water into the spout and it took at the very least an hour!

Looks good
For the price of this machine I thought it would at least function properly. The wand leaks and drips, the machine is a disappointment overall. Won't be recommending this product or buying another one. Has been this way since it was new.
