Excellent product
I love this device. The concept of having a recorder with speech recognition is wonderful. This is an excellent device that can help people with dication, who have difficulty with typing for various reasons, or just cutting down time spent typing. I found this product very easy to use and set up.

iNSTRUCTIONS?
JUST PURCHASED...I TOO AM TRYING TO FIND INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO USE...USER MANUAL, SOMETHING..SO FAR SPENT 30+ MINUTES GOOGLING AND NOW SAME AT PHILIPS TRYING TO FIND USER MANUAL, WHERE HARD DRIVE MANUAL IS ETC., THAT SUPPOSEDLY IS ON THE DEVICE... YOUR INSTRUCTIONS ARE WEAK, TO SAY THE LEAST --- LIKE SO MANY COMPUTER PRODUCTS, SINCE EVEN AFTER WEAK INSTRUCTION EATS CUSTOMER TIME THE POOR CUSTOMER STILL CAN'T FIND HELP... HOPING YOU HUMAN SUPPORT ISN'T AS BAD -- BUT USUALLY IS..
DO YOU GUYS HAVE A TEAM THAT DEVELOPS AN 'EASE OF USE' STRATEGY?
iT WOULD DO WONDERS FOR YOU.
IN ADDITION TO YOUR 4 PT BARELY READABLE FONT INSTRUCTION SHEET, HAVE YOU EVER CONSIDERED ADDING ANOTHER SHEET IN LARGER FONT THAT AT LEAST HAS LINKS THAT ONE COULD GO TO THAT BEGINS ANSWERING QUESTIONS OR HANDLES PROBLEMS?

too hard to find information
This device was purchased to use with Dragon and it came with no instructions on either using it with Dragon or even how to use it. I had to download a booklet with minimal information in. The dragon software I already owned so only purchased the device so guess if I had bought Dragon too there may?? be some indication on how to use this darn thing.
Its actually too much work and time consuming to track all this information down that should have been with it in the first place, This web site is also very limited for support so guess it gets the big thumbs down for everything its going to be a paperweight from now on. Not worth having something that looks good but not useable for what I wanted it for

This product is not for people with weak eyes
I could not read the small black symbols, etc against the background and returned it to the store for a refund.

The full User Manual in easy readable and printable (A5) PDF format is available on the mass storage of the device, just connect the Voice Tracer through the USB cable to your PC/Notebook.
Alternatively click on the 'start.html' page to view additional options such as registration, feedback form, browse the sample files etc.

NO instructions in package.
I just received my recorder, but it did NOT come with instructions, only a picture quick start guide. That may be ok, if you are familar with such products, but for me it's horrible. I haven't been able to do anything so far, I guess I'll have to track down some written instructions before I can use this gadget. What a shame.
The answers above are only becasue I cannot submit without them. I have NOT used this product yet, because I have no instructions on how it works. :(
