This bulb has great features and some not so great features
I replaced a four bulb 48" fluorescent fixture so it was difficult to provice enough light in my kitchen. I used 6 small can lights and tried 70 watt bulbs, they were too hot causing the bulbs to go out because of the thermal overloads in the fixtures. So I tried the 35 watt bulbs instead, they worked better and did not overheat and provided enough light for my needs.
I also used these bulbs in lamps we have in our living room on end tables. They work great except for one thing. If you accidentally bump the lamps even lightly the bulb filament will break. The bulb is ruined. So for lamps this bulb I would not recommend.
