Thought I lost my first set so I just ordered another
These are great earphones. They are solidly built, solid music reproduction, and make it easy to talk with people on my iphone in noisy room because they isolate you from external noises.
I use them for work and play on my iphone, ipad and macbook. I'm a musician so I wanted something that I could play my music and easily switch to an incoming call. Just recommended them to a co-worker as I am ordering my second set.
Only warning: because these are earbuds, keep in mind that if you are not used to them, talking on them will seem strange at first (like sticking your fingers in your ears), but you quickly get used to them and welcome the sound isolation they provide as you can hear the person you are speaking with much better.

I owned many brand of headphones and earphone e.g sennheiser, grado, sony
Was recently in the market to buy a pair of in-ears, make a trip down to the shop to listen to t-Jays three, sound muddy due to a light boom so i test t-Jays one which is better but not great. I have to turn up the volume quite a bit, the sound is clearer but a bit lay back. Not suitable for pop and rock music.
I was in dismay, thinking that people these day take marketing over good sound as their priority. I remember that there a time when i pay more the sound actually gets better.
Any way, i turn to my faithful what's hifi recommendation and they give SHS8000 5 stars.
A little checking i find out that SHS8100 is their replacement model bought it and are happy with both the price and the sound.
The sound is clear, music has drive and good pacing as the bass has good presence and agile without the boom. The cymbal sound is crisy and clear. A natural presentation suited for most music and the price philip is askings for is a absolute steal.
Maybe i need to pay another as backup as they are cheap anyway compare to my other headsets.

Awesome Headphones!!!!!!!!!
I've owned 3 pairs of these headphones, and they are the best ones I have ever had! They are light wieght and fitting to the ear which makes it very comfortable to wear! The sound quality is excelent for their size! These headphones are just awesome, very well done Philips!!!!

Best earphones ever!!!
These are the most comfortable earphones I've ever owned. Once you put them on, you virtually forget they are there. Exceptional sound to boot!!!!
