Great Philips build quality and light output
This LED light at 900 lumen and 18W is one of the brightest available. It would be nice if the bulb was offered in a 2700K warm light appearance. It is more a spot than a flood. Diffuser would help like Philips has on their new BR30 LED (PAR30) bulb. The diffuser is also more aesthetically pleasing.

Lots of light, but is more of a spot
This light produces a lot of nice light. However the light is more of a spot than a flood.
Maybe if Philips but on a glass dome light spreader thing like other par38 lights have, then the light would be spread out more and make the light more useful.
As of now, it looks like I am going to be returning this light due to it not being a true flood.
