I blew $25
I was looking for a bulb to use in a cabinet that we bought that had a socket, but no bulb. Nowhere on the packaging of this bulb does the manufacturer reveal the voltage, so I checked the specifications on the Philips web site: 120 volts it says. I plugged it in and poof! Then I saw the fine print on the back of the lamp that says 12 volts. I'll buy another brand from now on.
