To classify the different types of white light, the term "color temperature" is applied. This color temperature is measured in Kelvin (K). The lower the Kelvin number, the warmer the color temperature (more yellow-red). The higher the number, the cooler the color temperature (more white-blue). Warm white light is standard for creating a cosy atmosphere at home.
Ledino introduces the latest generation of warm white light LEDs reaching a color temperature of 2700 Kelvin. This innovation brings LED lighting to the next level, combining elegance, ambience creation and energy efficiency in one luminaire.
Who said that choosing your LED light color was not possible? Ledino introduces tunable white in a selection of luminaires. You can choose your preferred light color from warm white to cool white at installation using a tool that is included in the packaging. There are 4 light color options to choose from: 2500, 2700, 3100 and 3450 Kelvin.
Once the light color is installed, most luminaires can be dimmed normally with a wall dimmer (excluded). More information on compatible wall dimmers.
Most Philips Ledino luminaires are dimmable, which means that their light level can be adjusted with a dimmer switch helping you to create the ambiance you want in your home. The dimming indication is always mentioned on the product packaging or on our website. Ledino luminaires can be dimmed by means of an external trailing edge wall dimmer (not included in the product box). For more information about dimming, please follow this link.
