Philips goLITE BLU energy light HF3332 Plus rechargeable
This is an excellent light
This light is very helpful for providing lighting therapy. It has a great design, is easy to place in convenient setting and is aesthetically pleasing. However, I find the controls difficult to use. I've had this light for over a year and have tried repeatedly to get the timer off, to no avail! I am going to keep working with the thing to get the timer and chimes to be off. Other than that, it is a great product.
I have bought Phillips lights for myself and as gifts.

Good but battery life limited
I bought this several years ago and used it faithfully. Now the battery won't take a charge and I have to use the AC adapter. Disappointing considering the initial cost. I think Phillips would do better if the battery could be replaced. Then at least I wouldn't be throwing $200 away when the battery quit.
As to the light therapy itself, it works just fine. I suffer with mild depression all the time so winter SAD is particularly difficult. This light truly makes a difference in how I feel, think and in my energy level. I just wish the battery life were better.

Once the battery is dead - it's dead.
The only negative feature about the GoLite is serious: once the rechargeable battery is dead - your GoLite will only "Go" as far as the power cord will reach. I used to take it to work with me every day and set it on my desk. Now it never leaves my bedroom - the rechargeable battery won't recharge any more, and after months of searching, I cannot find a replacement. There is a small disk better that holds the time and date while unplugged, but without the rechargeable battery, the GoLite will not function at all unless plugged in.

Portable and easy
Have been using this daily for about two weeks - I've noticed that it is much easier for me to get going in the morning and to stay focused at work for longer periods of time.

This is the best therapy light on the market.
This is the perfect light for those with SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder) or those who do a lot of traveling across time zones. I know this from experience on both counts. The small size and bright light have freed me from my bulky light bank. My first GoLite was the original black one, from before they became part of Phillips. Luckily, Phillips kept all the R&D team together but gave them access to the industrial design team so the box and programming could be improved. They made it pretty and added the cool stand. They got rid of the soothing sounds feature (ocean, crickets). The sounds were fun, but I didn't really use them because the speaker quality was poor. I have recommended this light to many family, friends and colleagues. I even take it with me to breakfast in the hotel or airport restaurant where I have had other travelers come up and ask me about it.

Doesn't Stay Charged
I'm lucky if I can get 15 minutes after a full charge. It was great for the first six months. Now, after about 9 months the battery has rapidly gone down hill. Otherwise, I think the benefits from the light are great. I just can't get enough cordless light.

The product performs as advertised.
The product says it will help relieve anxiety and SADD. It very effectively uses a calming blue light, programmable by time and intensity, to achieve a calming affect. Although it is initially difficult to program, once accomplished, it works almost on auto-pilot.

Compact and portable energy light.
I love the size and portability of this unit. It is easy to charge and maintains a charge for a good amount of time. It is easy to hear and cannot be ignored. Easy touch screen functions . When used consistently, does help with improved energy levels and waking up easier.
