Love this product
We got this to replace our old duel screen DVD player, I was tired of changing movies on long trips or the kids leaving them all over the floor. With this product we could control everything from the front and finally use our digital copies of movies. There is a headphone cable that splits in the bag, it connects directly to the apple product. We also bought an additional y connector to connect to one of the ends because we have 3 kids that way they can all wear headphones. So far its works with the newer Classic, touch (4th gen) and the pad (3rd gen) for us, only downside is it wouldn't charge the classic. I just hope that Philips can make an adapter for the newer 8 pin products to support video.

Just what I want except for no composite video input. That's a deal breaker for me.
I was really excited to purchase this product for use with my Ipod and other video sources. The specifications say it has composite video input. It appears to have it on some photos. Other photos do not show it. As I was about to purchase it at BestBuy, I found out that it does NOT have composite video input. For me that's a deal breaker. If it ever includes composite video I will purchase it. Also I would rather have the connections on either side or the back rather than the bottom. Sometimes I would use it free standing. A little stand type foot would also be useful for that purpose.

Fantastically Fun
The other reviewer was wrong about the device not allowing headphone use (see the online owners manual). While the screens do not have headphone jacks the required iPod/iPhone does and with the addition of an audio cable splitter you can certainly have two quietly entertained children in the back seat during that upcoming cross-country summer roadtrip, this product was made for just that scenario.

Where is the headset jack?
The whole point of video in the car is to occupy the kids...why on earth would I want to listen to movies for a 10 hour car ride that I am not watching. Honestly, how difficult would it be to add a headset jack to this unit. Clearly this was not a parent who created this. Otherwise this would have been exactly what I was looking for as there are no other products out there to use my iPod traveling.
