Good player for the price
Overall, this is a very enjoyable device. It was purchased to replace an older, failing unit from a different vendor.
The design is very sleek - small and comfortable, it fits in my shirt pocket very nicely and the playback is good quality with no appreciable noise.
The one problem I have is that the documentation and PC software leave a lot to be desired. I didn't notice for quite some time that the unit has an FM radio built in. As far as I can tell, there is no support for managing the stations from the PC - I just have to scan for them or set them up manually from the player.
The Songbird is NOT intuitive to work. It is easier to use the Windows Media player to manage your library.
And, if you are trying to import a video, it would be nice if the documentation mentioned the video media types that were supported.

Great for Audiobooks
I primarily use this for Audiobooks while I'm driving. The small size is an advantage as my thumb can make any changes. I have had this MP3 for nearly 6 months so far, and the only problem I've got is occasionally the play button wont work.

Better each time
This is my third Phillips mp3 player. Each one is better than the last one. My only concern is that they don't last a long time.

I love this little device. I bought differnt headphones for it though.I don`t the the Songbird software.

Adding Video
Adding video is a nightmare. The format is too specific and is very difficult to convert to.
