Didn't work right out of the box.
In line volume control did nothing. Piece of junk. Going back to Best Buy ASAP.

Expensive and not easy to control
I bought this set at my Apple store because my iPod set would not allow me to listen to music while working out and sweating. I thought these would solve the problem since they are designed for working out. The second time I used them, the control got stuck in the off position when I tried to change tracks. I really depend on music in my hard runs and was extremely annoyed that I had to stop listening to music, go home and take the time to research how to get my headphones to start working again. It shouldn't be this hard especially after spending nearly $60.

Decent phones, but lousy controls!
I'm actually on my second pair of these... the first I returned to the Apple store, where I bought them, and I'm about to do the same with the second pair...
The good:
Sound quality is OK (it's actually better if you get a bit sweaty and the rubber in-the-ear cups get a good airtight seal... helps the low-end a great deal).
Comfort is very good. The headset is lightweight and doesn't bounce around a lot, even when running at high speeds.
The bad:
Even though it seeks to replicate the controls of the later iPhone headsets (with volume up/down and track pause/advance), the controls are placed at an awkward location in the headset cord... too close to the headset to be able to see, and just far enough away that it slips under the collar of your shirt so that you have to fish it out every time you want to adjust something. Also, the button surfaces on the controls aren't different enough from one another (or similar enough to the iPhone control surfaces) to make a seamless transition from using the Apple product to using this one.
The Ugly:
While the headset, itself, appears to be sweatproof, the controls are not! If the little controller area gets damp (not hard to do with a product marketed for use during exercise), all bets are off as to what controls will work and which won't. Lately, about 15 minutes into an intense workout, I lose all volume control ability. Mostly I retain the track pause/advance function, but sometimes these fail too and I wind up locked in to a playlist with no ability to change tracks or volume, unless I do it on the phone, itself.
I bought this product because the standard iPhone earbuds would get 'drowned' during exercise, and I'd lose audio in one ear or the other, but *never* did I have any problems with the iPhone controller. Now it appears that I have exactly the opposite set of problems with this product, which is very frustrating both because this product costs 3x what the Apple earbuds cost, and because it's marketed as being for exercise!
