Short Life I put in three of them in October and two have already failed. I expected better then the "real" bulbs I had in the lamp 10 February 2013

Short Life I bought six Philips EcoVantage 72W bulbs to try out in my home because I haven't been happy with the light given off by incandescent alternatives. Of the 6 bulbs, 3 have already failed in just 90 days. This is an extremely high failure rate, and considering the higher cost of the bulb, I'll never recoup any savings at this rate. I was pretty happy with the light given off and the thought of saving money without sacrificing brightness. I would be happy if they lasted longer than 90 days! 13 November 2012

This is my new "goto" ligtht bulb! I don't know how they did it, but the ecovantage bulb has all the beneits of eco-friendly bulb without the high cost. And it's dimmable! 24 October 2012
