good for small space behind electrical equipment
This surge protector is perfect for my intended use. I installed an electrical outlet behind my new large screen TV so that wires are not visible from the TV to the old electrical outlet hidden behind the TV console. I wanted a small surge protector that plugged directly into the new outlet (no built-in extension cord) and allowed the TV to remain close to the wall. This product is slim and compact, just what I wanted. Unlike the previous reviewer, I had no difficulty plugging the TV in to this device.

Why do I need to be Superman to plug it in ? ... Why ?!
All of my Surge Protectors are Philips so when I saw this new design, and I actually needed one for my Printer, I decided to give it a try. Overall very nice design with a very clear Lighted Circle telling you that it's protected.
However, WHY is it so difficult to plug in a device ? ... I mean come on ... I had to push it so hard into the side plug. And I do mean PUSH VERY HARD. At first I thought it was broken but it is the same on both sides. Everything seems to work fine otherwise but this is an issue for me.
