A gradual disappointment.
I purchased this antenna at the same time as my new HDTV a little more than a year ago. I appreciated the antenna's appearance for indoor use. Initially it's performance was an improvement over rabbit ears. But about six months later reception began to decline to the point where a signal was no longer received from three local public television channels and reception grew spotty and unpredictable from all but four commercial channels. I first contacted the TV manufacturer. They recommended that I re-run the TV channel set-up which I did several times. I bought and installed new coax cables. I checked to see if any new buildings obstructed the signal, even though we live on one of the highest points in Seattle. It wasn't until I tried the antenna on an analog set (this one with a converter box and rabbit ears) that an inherent limitation was exposed. The old set-up on the analog TV had been pulling in those three public television channels. But once I replaced the rabbit ears with this antenna, those public channels were gone.

This is a good and well priced product, but experiences interuptions fairly often, regardless of weather conditions.

Philips TV antenna SDV2940 UHF/HDTV digital Indoor/outdoor
The Philips TV antenna SDV2940 UHF/HDTV digital Indoor/outdoor model is good at channels broadcasting close by. The antenna is not adjustable. I have one in the attic and one on the roof and bot are comparable in reception. If you are not close to the broadcasting signal this is not the antenna is not for you.
