The research institute set up under the Affordable Care Act to guide comparative effectiveness research is seeking applications for its first four advisory panels. The intent is to engage a broad range of healthcare stakeholders as partners in its research agenda.
According to the PCORI, it is seeking patients, caregivers, clinicians, researchers, other members of the healthcare community and the general public to serve on advisory panels on Assessment of Prevention, Diagnosis, and Treatment options; Improving Healthcare Systems; Addressing Disparities; and Patient Engagement. Applications can be submitted online under 5 pm ET, Monday, March 4, 2013.
