Seamless connectivity with 3 HDMI inputs
HDMI creates an uncompressed digital RGB connection from the source to the screen for the ultimate picture quality. HDMI uses HDCP copy protection. With three HDMI inputs on the back of the TV you can connect multiple HD sources, for instance an HD PPV set top box, a Blu-ray player, and a connectivity panel.
Digital audio output for surround sound
Digital audio output allows you to immerse your guests in the program that they are watching and enjoy the surround sound that is being broadcasted in the TV program. Simply connect a cable from the connector for digital audio output, and the digital audio signals in the broadcasted program will be output to the home theater system (or an audio amplifier or soundbar) for processing into a 5.1 audio experience on the loudspeaker boxes.
Eco-friendly design & flame retardant housing
Sustainability is integral to the way Philips does business. Philips TVs are designed and produced according to our EcoDesign principles aimed at minimizing overall environmental impact, through lower power consumption, removal of hazardous substances, lower weight, more efficient packaging and better recyclability. Philips TVs also have a special housing of flame retardant material. Independent tests carried out by emergency fire services have shown that whereas TVs can sometimes intensify fires caused by external sources, Philips TVs will not contribute to the fire.
Live customer support 7 days a week
Your hotel never closes, and neither do we. Philips offers you real help from a live person 7 days a week, excluding major holidays.
Smart Hotel Mode allows control over all television settings
Allows configuration of the TV for limited access, ideal for hotel use. Access to the user menu can be blocked, which enables the ability to specify channel, picture, and sound settings which your guest will be unable to modify. Picture and sound preferences may be selected from presets on the remote, offering guest selection, but never overwriting your defined settings. Switch on and maximum volume can also be specified so the set always turns on and operates at a comfortable volume. Channels can be blanked to prevent access to premium or adult content. Includes a forced power on mode.
SmartPower² and ESP for energy savings
Our second generation power saving technology allows the backlight intensity to be dynamically adjusted by the system to reduce the power consumption by up to 60%, saving substantially on energy costs. In addition, Philips' Energy Savings Programmability (ESP) allows the set to turn itself off when not in use to save even more energy when guests or maids leave televisions on for long periods while the room is vacant.
Technical and engineering support (USA-based)
Philips offers USA based technical and engineering support to better meet your needs in the face of the ever evolving complexities of hotel television systems.
Two-year advanced exchange warranty
Philips offers unmatched commitment to keeping your guest rooms in working order. We have such confidence in the reliability of our televisions that we offer a two-year advanced exchange warranty with same day ship. In the unlikely event that something does go wrong we ship a replacement directly to you. (Same day ship applies to calls received M-F prior to 2 PM ET.)
USB cloning of all settings for quick installation
Provides the ability to easily copy all programming and channel programming settings from one TV into other TV sets in less than a minute. The feature ensures uniformity between TV sets and significantly reduces installation time and costs.
