Gold and Bronze for Philips’ designs

Designed to illuminate pathways, squares, shopping areas and any other outside spaces requiring pedestrian lighting, the CityWing breaks new ground by combining the proven benefits of illumination by Light Emitting Diodes (LEDs) - extremely long life (50,000 hours) and very low energy use - with the need for a welcoming ambience in the urban environment.

Its striking design – built from robust, solid aluminium able to withstand the rigours of an outdoor environment - creates a smooth transition between the lighting and the innovative square mast, while its high-efficiency lenses offer an exceptionally uniform distribution of light on the ground.
