Follow the instructions in the user manual for proper measurement. If you still have unusual results, please check the following potential issues:

• Infrared sensor is not clean enough. (Clean the infrared sensor with cotton swab according to user manual.)
• You are not measuring the temperature in the correct way. Please make sure that you have read the manual and know how to use the thermometer properly.

• Make sure that the thermometer and the person whose temperature is being measured have acclimatized in the room for at least 30 minutes before you use the thermometer.
• You are using the thermometer outside. The thermometer is only intended for indoor use. It can be too cold or too warm outside for the thermometer to function properly.
• You have held the thermometer in your hand too long. Put the thermometer on the table in the room where the measurement is taking place and let it cool down first.
