The thermometer does not respond or resets automatically when I pull out the battery strip

This can occur for several different reasons, please check the following potential causes:

  • The batteries are empty. (Replace them).
  • The poles of the batteries point in the wrong direction. (Realign the batteries)
  • The batteries are not making proper contact. (Realign the batteries)
