The Philips health band works in conjunction with the Philips HealthSuite health app, which expands functionality in a  number of ways.

Firstly, you need the app to set up your Philips account and establish a pairing connection between the app and the health band. Without this connection, your helath band will not be functional.

Secondly, your band will show you data through the day. However, it will not store your data day to day, and you cannot access data from previous days.

The app is available from the Google Play store for Android, or the Apple store for iOS.
