What is the difference between active minutes and all activities?

What are active minutes?
To register active minutes your exercise needs to be above 50% of your max heart rate for at least 10 minutes. The 10 minute baseline to start tracking active minutes is used because it is the amount of time that the World Health Organization says it takes for excise to be the most beneficial to your health. So, for example, if you do 9 minutes of activity at the needed level no active minutes will be tracked, but as soon as you cross the 10 minute barrier, 10 minutes will show. Note: a 1 minute break within the 10 minute period is permitted.

What are all activities?
All activities are the total of all of your walking, running, or biking activities. All activities are tracked as soon as the health watch auto-detects one of these activities. This number might include any active minutes that have been tracked. Other activities are not tracked this way. Note only the active minutes which registered in the 10 minute blocks as described are above and are from walking, running, or biking are included here.
