My Philips Avent sterilizer immediately starts heating when I plug it in
- You have pressed the power-on button (unintentionally) before you plugged in the appliance
- When you press the power-on button before you put the plug in the wall socket, the sterilizer starts operating immediately when you plug it in
- Warning: The appliance becomes extremely hot during sterilization and may cause burns if you touch it
- Always check if the sterilizing light is on, this is an indication that the appliance is already operating
