Can I choose when to update my Philips NP1000 player?

Yes, you can update the firmware at any time when new firmware has been made available.

1. Press the HOME button on the remote control to enter the root menu.
2. Use the UP/DOWN button on the remote control to select Settings, press RIGHT button to enter the Settings page.
3. Press the UP/DOWN button on the remote control to select Software update and then press the Right button to confirm, the unit will AUTOsearch and update the latest firmware from the Server.

Remark:

Make sure there is an active Internet connection to the unit before you carry out the firmware upgrade.
