Picture format in Philips TV changes spontaneously

The picture format is set to automatic. As a result the television will automatically select the most suitable picture format, depending on the picture information of the transmission.

To keep the format from re-sizing automatically:

1. Press the 'MENU' button once.
2. Press the cursor right to select PICTURE.
3. Press the cursor down to select PICTURE FORMAT.
4. Press the cursor right.
5. Press the cursor up/down to select desired picture format.
6. Press 'MENU' to exit the menu.

Press the remote SCREEN FORMAT button repeatedly until the desired picture format is selected.

Note: with HD sources in use, picture format is not selectable.AUTOMATIC PICTURE FORMAT is disabled when you are watching DUAL SCREEN.
