Troubleshooting

No successful connection to use the SmartSleep

If you cannot establish a successful connection to use your Philips SmartSleep , there might be a simple solution. Discover in the following lines how to fix it yourself.

The forehead sensor band is not placed properly

Check that the forehead sensor band is placed across the middle of your forehead and that there is no hair underneath it.

Expert tip 1:
Place a dab of water on the middle of your forehead where the forehead sensor would be and wait for about 10-20 seconds for the connection to be established.
If it is placed correctly, you can see a green light and hear no beeps.

Expert tip 2:
Winter, hotel rooms and air travel can make your skin extra dry. Use the above tip to counter balance the dry skin for a better connection, so that your SmartSleep works every time!

The SmartSleep Sensor is not placed properly
