Marinara sauce

Enjoy quick and easy homemade pasta sauce to pair with your fresh pasta

Preparation time 15 minutes,


  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 cup chopped Onion
  • 3 – 4 Garlic Cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 28 oz can Whole Peeled Tomatoes with juices
  • 1/4 cup torn fresh Basil


  • Heat olive oil over medium heat in a saute pan until shimmering. Add onion and cook, stirring often, until soft and beginning to turn translucent, about 5 – 7 minutes. Add garlic and salt and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  • Add tomatoes (with juices) and bring sauce to a simmer. Gently crush tomatoes with a spoon or masher then let simmer for 15 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in torn fresh basil. Serve hot.
