Souvlaki with Greek salad and tzatziki

Enjoy a little piece of Greece at home with this delicious Souvlaki with Greek salad and tzatziki.

Servings 4 persons,

Ingredients

  • Souvlaki:
  • 1 kg pork
  • 3 teaspoons ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon paprika powder
  • (Corn) oil
  • Vinegar
  • Greek salad:
  • 1/2 cucumber
  • 1 red onion
  • 4 tomatoes
  • 200 g feta cheese
  • 50 g Greek olives
  • 20 small green chili peppers (jar)
  • Wine vinegar
  • Tzatziki:
  • 2 pointed sweet peppers
  • 1/2 cucumber
  • Greek yogurt 0% fat
  • 4 garlic cloves

Directions

  • Grate half of the cucumber and press the garlic. Mix this with the Greek yogurt and leave to infuse. Cut the meat into equal-sized cubes and make a marinade from the oil, paprika, cumin, oil, vinegar, salt and pepper. Thread the meat onto (wooden) skewers.
  • Cut the other half of the cucumber and tomato into cubes. Crumble the feta and cut the red onion into pieces. Mix the ingredients in a bowl and add the chili pepper and olives. Season to taste with vinegar, salt and pepper.
  • Halve the sweet pointed bell peppers and fill with the tzatziki. Pre-heat the Airfryer for 2 minutes at 200 degrees and place the Souvlaki and pointed peppers in the basket. Cook everything for 8 minutes at 200 degrees. Serve with the salad and dig in!
