Its been 7 years but better late than never review
I thought I would give some feedback, Mine is mostly positive my caution comes fromm all the reviews I have read relative to my experience. Within 6 mos of purchase the video card went out. It was replaced no charge and service was excellent. at the time time of purchase plasma ruled as LCDs were struggling with a 150 view angle and color issues, The color of this plasma was and is still excellent. So was a a good purchase fro the time, Taking in account the new LCD and newer technologies I would not recommend a plasma, the high energy cost do not outweigh the picture quality comparison. To get back to the reviews it seems the unit does click sporadically when off, and I have been told It turns itself on, looking into to software updates, however this may be related to the capacitor issues I see all over the internet with a similar issues. Sound quality is very good I run it 98 percent of the time with out my surround sound system, To summarize good purchase at the time, although I am sure I would not buy another plasma.
Additional note I am dealing with an HDCP issue that appears to be typical with older plasma TVS, I had it licked for a while with a HDMI switch but has returned of late still researching possible solutions.
