Portable DVD Player

Bought my in 2009 and it still charges great. The Video and T.V. both have great picture and sound. Very happy with this purchase.

This product has serve me GREAT!! I was looking for a dvd player and walk up on this one with a TV. Plug it up and realize that it had a TV tuner, that was a real plus. Thank God for me going into Walgreen's that day. I use it on daily basic at work during lunchtime. And I got it at a REAL good price around Father's day avout three years ago.

I have enjoyed using my Philips Portable DVD Payer on long road trips to occupy my kids. I don't have a carrying case for it, so my son has to hold in on his lap. I tried purchasing an "off-brand" case for it, but it was cheaply made and broke the first time I tried to use it. I guess I'll have to look into buying a Philips case for it. It would be nice if the product came with a case. I still store mine in the box! The Player itself is easy to use and very compact. The only thing I would change is the volume control. I wish it was able to be controlled with the remote and not just on the side of the unit.

It still gets hot on the bottom of the unit. But I have always have like the design of the unit and the ease of opperation of the unit.

I love my portable tv/dvd player. TV needs the antenna if not hooked up to cable. Picture/sound are great. When hooked up to cable it's superb. I hook this up to my 50" tv to play DVD's on and works great. Only I miss is the remote, as it no longer works and I will see if I can order another one. Remote does not control volume.

when connected to unscrambled cable or to the antenna supplied or the external house antennae it still picks up no signal. but the dvd quality is just BOSS!

My DVD player model is PET729/37 I purchased this product last year and used it once. At first, it worked well. Then, I did not use it again. I now went to play a dvd movie in it before I take it on my vacation. To my surprise, it cannot play the dvd. It reads NO DISC while there is a dvd inside it. I tried several dvds just to see if the problem was with one particular dvd but it wasn't. It just won't play any dvd. I wouldn't recommend this headache to anyone else. Now, I'm stuck.
