I arranged the purchase of one of these for a client to replace a dead projector in their conference room. They bought a medium priced LCD TV, the Philips wireless guy, and we repurposed an older PC to replace it and it worked really well. So well in fact that I bought one for myself about a year ago to be able to use my laptop to watch training videos on the plasma from my couch. My TV acts as a second monitor for the training videos (streaming) and my laptop is the primary monitor for everything else. Windows 8.1 handled the transition from one to two monitor desktops very well.
The only reason for four stars on Ease of Use is because it usually requires a restart of the base unit before the remote USB guy will connect. I just leave it unplugged when I'm not using it anyway because the base runs a little hot, so no big deal for me.
The bottom line is that no special software or drivers are required, and I turn it on and it works every time. If only all of my technology worked this well.
